Algebra, an area of study that appears to be the arch enemy of many students studying mathematics.
However, possessing great skill in the area of algebra is an asset both for the students pursuing mathematics at a Tertiary Level as well as those pursuing any other disciplines dependent upon mathematics.
So what is the student to do, who finds algebra somewhat difficult?
Embrace it! At this level you have made a choice to study mathematics, this means you have made a choice to study algebra. It will permeate everything that you do, so simply embrace it, master it, fight with it, do not give up!
Mastery of algebra is a sufficient condition for success at this level. So what are you waiting for? Get a text book out and start practising!
