Pascal's Triangle

One of the most interesting Number Patterns is the Pascal's Triangle, named after a famous French Mathematician and Philosopher, Blaise Pascal. Although the triangle was studied by Pascal and it is to him its existence is accredited, it is said to have been described centuries earlier by Chinese mathematician Yanghui  and the Persian astronomer-poet Omar Khayyám. It is therefore known as the Yanghui triangle in China.  To this day it remains of great value in the study of Pure Mathematics.

For our current course of study we will utilise Pascal's triangle for quick expansions of binomials expressions raised to powers greater than 2.
